Makivvik Corporation is delighted to host a Nunavik Economic Summit in Kuujjuaq, March 20-21, 2024 (travel days on March 19 & 22). The aim of this summit is to connect different stakeholders in the Nunavik Economy for two full days of keynote speakers, presentations, and workshops to talk about the Nunavik Economy. This promises to be an important and stimulating event to bring Nunavik businesses together. Makivvik has fully booked the hotels in Kuujjuaq on participants behalf to ensure we have sufficient lodging secured and we will coordinate that aspect. For Landholding Corporations, interested Inuit Youth, and Inuit entrepreneurs we intend to sponsor a set number of participants' air travel to attend the summit. Hotels have been reserved, and there will be rooms set aside to accommodate sponsored and invited attendees.
