All Arctic at the Senate of Canada

  • Senate of Canada 40 Elgin Street Ottawa, ON, K1A Canada (map)

All Arctic's vision and mandate caught the attention of Nova Scotia's Senator the Honourable Mary Coyle, former Director of the Coady International Institute at St-Francis-Xavier University. Upon understanding the work that All Arctic has sustained, she extended a warm invitation to All Arctic into the Senate of Canada.

Honourable Senators, I wish to draw your attention to the presence in the gallery of Felix Daniel Uiyaki Aupalu. He’s the guest of the Honourable Senator Coyle. On behalf of all Senators, welcome to the Senate of Canada.
— George J. Furey PC KC, Speaker of the Senate of Canada

Upon meeting with Senator Coyle and her devoted team, our Program Director has been given an opportunity to present the Senate with All Arctic’s important mandate, which is to develop, implement and foster programs for the betterment of all people living in the Arctic. With no hesitation and adamant support, Senator Coyle rallied the other members of the Senate to allow for on-going discussions about the important work done in Arctic communities.
